Placenta previa? No thank you, NOT ME!

I NO LONGER HAVE PLACENTA PREVIA!!! I ALMOST GOT UP AND DID A LITTLE JIG RIGHT THERE IN THE DR'S OFFICE :)

I had my appointment today, i'm just about 29 weeks, more importantly only 11 to go, he said my placenta has moved up real high and out of the way. Words cannot express the joy i feel !

6 months!!!

I'm six months. 27 weeks and 3 days to be exact! I'm feeling good, big, but good. My tummy is definetly sticking out there, some people say i still look small-they have to be trying to be polite because there is no way i'm small. I may not be huge, but come on, i have 3 THREE 1.2.3 more months to go! How much bigger is this baby going to get?! ...No complications so far...life is great! I really do enjoy being pregnant after getting passed the sickness part of it. Sure it's a little harder to bend over, get up and off a nice comfy couch and things of that nature, but what is there not to love? It still amazes me that there is a little baby, our little baby, growing inside of me. I can't wait for so many things....Move riley to her big girl room, get out all the teeny-tiny baby clothes again, feel SOME labor pains (most likely not all of them-thanks to epidurals-we shall see), find out if this is a girl or boy? Will the baby look like a Brayden or Kole? Reese or Reagan? I can't wait to see what the baby's face looks like and to hold it's little body, and look at it's toes and fingers :) I'm just so excited, i know this baby needs more time in me, and that is just fine, i'm loving every second of it. Until then, i have so many girls in the family that are due before me, i'm also so excited to see their cute little faces and to hold them. Hopefully that will tide me over until i can hold my own.

My belly button isn't poking out but it's definetly not sunk in either. I officially don't have an inny or an outy. What do you call that? An "inbetweeny"?!

Our vegas trip. What can i say. Josh and i had a blast. The hotel part wasn't as great as i thought it would be. Don't get me wrong, the room was KILLER. but the rest was ehhh. Josh and i had so much fun just being together. I don't really know if he felt the same way, but i felt like we were just a lot "closer" on this trip than we are able to be at home. We laughed more, talked more, etc. We had so much fun eating out, shopping and we even got to see "O" at the Bellagio...amazing! It's performed by cirque du solei but it's all in water...oh my gosh. you all have to go see that. It was about 2 hours long and entertaining the entire time. It amazes me to know that our bodies can do such things. i want to be in the circus now :) Leavning Riley was as bad as i thought it would be. Driving away from her physically hurt. It's a wierd feeling to describe. Than the entire time we were there it wasn't as if i couldn't go on without her, it was just a little depressing, i felt that part of me was missing. We were able to do so much because we didnt have her with us, at the same time Josh and I were always saying "Riley would of loved this" or we would be imitating what little phrases riley would of been saying if she'd seen a certain sight etc. I don't regret leaving her, but i'm really excited to take her on a fun family vacation soon.

This is josh in his kind of candy shop...The Tourneau shop. It made it into the Guinness book of world records for being the biggest watch shop in the entire world!!! 3 stories big. It was pretty amazing.

It was hard to take a good picture but this is the living room. Two couches and a flat screen, pretty cozy.

The master bedroom, nice big bed, also had a flat screen.

Attached to the living room was this full kitchen and breakfast nook. That was nice to have, although we didn't sit and eat there, it was nice to have all the kitchen stuff!

I didnt get very good pictures of the bathroom, but it was a nice walk in shower with two shower heads and plenty of room for two people, josh fell in love with it, so hopefully one day we can build our own! Now connected to our master bedroom was that shower and counter with two sinks. with a door. You can shut it to make it just the master bathroom. And on the other side was another full bathroom, toilet, shower-tub and sinks...for the guests to use. It was a very comfy room. The parts we weren't impressed with was the pool-it was just normal, not something cool you'd expect at a resort, a small jacuzzi, luckily it wasn't crowded. The time share presentation thing went for 3 hours instead of 1, they ended up being super annoying halfway through (we excepted some of that)but finally josh and i go a little bold and said "hey, we are not interested.period. we dont' like this, this and that. we only have one more day here and want to go." It was worth the basspro gift cards that we got though :) We wish we had more time to enjoy all the sites but it was so nice to get home to riley! I ran in and picked her up and said "I missed you!" (expecting her to say the same-she's been starting to do this on her own when josh and i get home from work 'miss you') but no, what did that little turkey look at me and say "No miss you" it sort of broke a chunk of my heart but i laughed, she went right to josh and said "miss you" That girl...

I'm smoothering her and i LOVE it

Josh and i are taking off this thursday for our vegas get away...I'm super excited to spend 3 days with just him and no responsibilites! We get to drive there and do whatever we want on the way, when we get there and on the way home! Like i said i plan on laying out and he wants to golf other than that we are going to sleep in, walk around and enjoy the night life! CAN'T WAIT! anyway, the flip side of this is no riley for all those 3 days and 2 nights. I'm already going crazy with the thought of it, i've never left her, even for one night! As the trip gets closer i get crazier and crazier about her. I've really been smoothering her. Instead of saying, "okay, go play by yourself for a little" when i'm too tired or bored to play what she wants to, i throw her on the floor and get into a huge kissing and tickling match. I've been chasing her around, taking her to the park, on walks, etc etc etc. And i love it. I need to do this all the time not just when i fear losing her! I'm just so afraid i'm going to be so sad the whole time without her. I know she will be just fine, which helps me a lot, but i just love her to pieces and the thought of not seeing her for 3 days jsut kills me. I jokingly told josh we should just bring her and that i didn't have kids to just up and leave them when i wanted to go on vacation, which is so true! ANYWAY the smoothering has been good, i'm definetly not spoiling her just loving her up. man i'm going to miss her, it hurts my heart just writing about it...who could of thought you'd ever be so attatched to someone?

I had a dr appointment today...he didn't say anything about the last ultra sound, so i don't know if i'm still placenta previa or not, and i forgot to ask! I will update pictures soon :) Enjoy all the pictures from the past couple weeks...

The set up...my parents invited us to sleep in the trailor but we wanted to go "camping" so we stayed in the tent. Riley did just fine, went to bed without us while we roasted smores. Slept most of the night, only josh woke up about 30 times to re-cover her :)

In order, from the right, Lisa, my sister in law due july 24, than katie, my cousin in law, due august, Stacy also a cousin in septemeber and me in october! They are all having boys...which means we really luck out either way with ours. a sister for riley or a boy for all his cousins!

Riley didn't care for the fireworks this year, she didnt' cry but she looked wary and she kept saying "scurry"

My new sport...EXTREME STROLLERING....yes i know i look like a dork but i haven't quite figured out the proper attire for such a sport...the most extreme it got is when i ran into a cyote...scary!

She asked for cake one day. I have no idea where she got the idea, but we made one! She only wanted one piece out of the whole thing over a week period, but she wakes up every morning and says "cake"...cracks me up!

It's insane how much this baby moves. I lose so much sleep over it...but i love it all the same...i told josh we have to name him the next karate kid "daniel son" This video shows a little of the action, i'll try to get a better one

Ultra sound pictures! Boy or Girl? Names and more!

I got to have an ultra at just 2 days before i was 24 weeks along. It was fun, except for having to drink 32 oz. of water and holding it for an entire hour before my appointment and than the 40 min. it took to do the ultra sound! ouch :) It was really fun after i got to pee. After the tech took all the measurements she needed-which only took so long because the baby was moving allll over the place-maybe he/she had a full bladder too? ;) She brought josh and my mom in to just look for fun, and she turned the screen so i could see too! By that time the baby had turned over toward my back and went to sleep but she was able to get a few partial shots of the face. The tech was able to tell the gender...i told her from the beginning to try not to tell me b/c we didn't want to know....she refered to the baby as a "he" a few times and than switched to "it" so i kind of think it might be a boy, but i always call it a "he" too. She even caught me saying that and asked if i thought it was a boy and we both agreed that "he" just rolls off your tongue when you don't know the gender-so i really don't know?! Josh and i got a little wishy-washy and we had her write the gender on a piece of paper incase we end up wanting to know. She was so funny, she folded it about 30 times and taped all the edges! I decided i'm going to shred it. I would be ecstatic to know the gender now, but if it's a girl again i don't want to know-we would be thrilled with a girl, we love the name we have picked out and riley would have such a close sister. We don't need much for a girl, so we might as well wait-and if it's a boy, i just can't take away the emotion i would feel when they tell me right as i deliver! I've been leaning more towards wanting a girl lately for a few reasons but mostly because the name we picked "Reese". I think Riley and Reese would make great fisher sisters. And for the past few months josh and i had our top 3 boy names but none we absolutely completely 100% loved. They were 1. Kole 2. Troy 3. Porter. But i came up with the name Braden (sounding like Brayden-not sure how to spell it yet) and we both fell in love with it, so that is taking the #1 spot and knocking troy of the list i believe. we'll see. So now that we have a boy name that we are crazy about i'm okay with having a boy too :) (p.s.if you don't like any of the names we do, that fine with me, and i'm well aware there will be infinite HORRIBLE nicknames for each and every name, and that you might know someone with one of those names that you just can't stand, but we love them, so let us enjoy them please!)

Okay, so this head is giving me a few nightmares....and some pelvic pain already! A little big huh?!

The day of the ultra sound the baby had it's head down toward my left hip and it's fit under my right ribs...it's fun to know what i'm feeling kind of! Oh and the baby has come up with a new schedule...6:15 every morning WE-yes we, get up to play! not to fond of that but it's better than 4am which it was for awhile! This baby is SO active and moves a TON, i love feeling it. I think i'm going to wear my sking off just from always having my hand somewhere on my tummy feeling the baby move!

Our bedroom is beginning to take shape! We've had our awesome bed and end tables etc since a few weeks after we moved in but we have yet to decorate the room...no frames or anything. The office i work at has these awesome lamps in a few rooms and i found them at ikea. Luckily josh loves them too. They look the best at night, they light up the room just enough and give off a great ambiance. They are like a papery material and have just two lightbulbs in each one...they stand probably around 5 ft. tall and i just LOVE em. Next come frames and all that...josh is making some great progress on the closet, i will post an update asap!

I couldn't get both lamps in the picture at once, but we each have one on our side of each of our night stands-bed unmade, but i could lie and say that is for the purpose of you seeing our "colors" brownish stain, blue walls and yes ORANGE accents baby :)

Amazing Deal!!!

Thank you for helping me with our anniversary get-away search. That very next day, josh riley and i were walking around bass pro shop-by victoria gardens-and they had some people there advertising for this new time share place. Long story short we got 3days and 2nights at this place for $99!!!!!! Now let me highlight a little of the awesomeness before you all jump in your car and drive to bass pro to get the same deal! (which i seriously highly reccomend!)

It's in Las Vegas right behind the MGMgrand

It is a resort, so there is no casino and NO SMOKING in the entire place!

Our room alone is going to be 710 sq ft complete with an entire kitchen, washing machine, master bedroom w/ a flat screen, dining room table-in kitchen- and pull out king sized sofa in the living area with another flat screen. Bathroom is seperate from the walk in closet and vanity seating area! They were really trying to sell me on all the space, but since we will only be there 3 days, i didn't really care. if we were there about a week all this would be amazing. SO needless to say we will be living in style for for our 3 days and 2 nights. Their pool is indoors-which almost broke the whole deal for me, josh is stoked, but the lounge/lay out area is just outside the pool area, where there is also a bar and cafe to buy snacks and what not. There is a gym in this resort which woud be nice, again, if we were there for a longer period of time.

Josh is going to go golfing one day nearby while i go tanning and swimming :) funny we will be spending part of one day alone on our anniversary trip but those are two things we really enjoy doing. We are going to see Mystere i believe, i'm leavning that up to josh, to book a cool show to watch.

So this is how the pricing works, and the reason why noone reading this can afford to miss out! if you chose to stay on a WEEK night it is only $99 for 3 days, 2 nights. All enclusive-meaning, taxes, parking etc. Also if you book your reservation date within 30 days of when you purchase this package from the basspro shop store, they will wave the $50 registration fee! (this is why we chose to stay thurs/fri night and check out on saturday. Now if you want to stay on a fri/sat/ or sun night it only raises the fee $30. not bad! so $129 for 3 days and 2 week END nights. Also, the second day we are there, we are required to go on a 1.5 hour tour of the place(since it is a time share deal) but they did say they hired a comedian to do the tour-to make it more bearable, and it's not a sitdown thing-i'll believe that when i see it! but at the end of the presentation they place josh's joyess fingers 3, $25 gift cards to basspro! so an extra $75 to shop fo whatever camping, hunting, shooting gift or item we want! I didn't ask, but it sounded like if you didn't go to the presentation/tour you just don't get the gift cards, so whatever floats your boat :)

If you go to the basspro store in victoria gardens, they were set up inside to the left of the big fish tank. Not sure how long they will be there offering this deal. The main reason i say you can't afford to miss out on this deal is because you need to buy it now, from the people in the store, but you don't have to book or reserve a date for the entire year. Everyone will have a wedding anniversary they need to celebrate this year, a birthday, a simple get away for fun, etc.

22 week check up and Anniversary Search

I had an OBGYN apointment today it went well. I've had no complications due to the placenta previa so far! He found the heart beat almost right away. i think he got the butt first, because when he moved the instrument a straight across to the other side, we heard the heart beat, haha, made me chuckle to myself. While listening to the heartbeat he said "Sounds like a boy today" i didn't ask what the speed was specifically, but by his comment, he was reffering to the old wive's tale that a "slower" (yet still in the healthy range) heart beat indicates a boy. He also meaured my uterus, i guess you could say, he didn't say how many inches and i didn't ask, but i'm sure it was on track because he didn't say anything. And the best news, he also let me set up an 'anatamy' scan ultra sound for a few weeks from now! Although we are not planning on finding out the gender i can't wait to see the baby, the tiny, feet and fingers, the brain, bladder, beating heard and rib cage. it's so amazing. I was feeling that this baby is a boy at first, now i'm back to not feeling certain either way, but i'm starting to hope a little bit more for a girl just so riley has a close sister. But a boy for josh and i would be such a fun change....i'm starting to really get baby hungry, having dreams of labor and holding this baby. I love feeling all the kicks and tumbles, i'm having a great pregnancy thus far!
On to the anniversary search i mentioned in the title...Josh and i want to "get away" for about 3 days or so for our 3rd wedding anniversary (july 8th) so one of the weekends suroudning it we want to go somewhere: palm springs, catalina, vegas...this is where all my helpful friends come in. I'm finally brave enough to leave riley for couple days, i can't wait to get away, just josh and i and just have an amazing time to relax and connect! Any ideas? places you've heard of or been to? please let me know so i can check them out. I'm thinking of a resort type place, comfy bed, pool, etc.

20 weeks ALREADY?!

I'm half way there and LOVING IT. I'm at such a good part of pregnancy, "the beast" wakes me up each morning between 7-7:30 to just play. I love laying there and watching my stomach jolt and jump and wobble. This baby moves and moves and moves it's so much fun, i constantly have my hand on my stomach feeling the movements and when i can i lay on my back and just watch them-yep, i've been able to SEE the movements for a couple weeks now-so cool! I'm still feeling great, full energy, no complications!

I left my markers out and riley being so girl decided it was lipstick :) -don't mind the crazy hair and face-she had an eye infection and was a little under the weather
One of her favortie past times, that drives me nuts, is going into our pantry and pulling out all of our plastic utensils...i caughter her sticking a spoon in each side of her pants, it was so funny to sneak and watch

It looks like it's blue under the top shelf but it's just a shadow-this is my side, the first side he is putting in...not quite done, but looking good!

He's so awesome, he literaly measured my shirts, dresses,skirts and shoes so i can have a double bars to hang all my stuff and fit perfectly and a spot for my shoes, purses etc!

Hard to see but this is our closet, josh painted all white and then the four corners stick out to cover air ducts or something so we painted them blue to match our room...it's a small closet, and when you are married to josh you need a HUGE closet so he is building some custom shelves, he's the best ever!

The growing belly, i'm seriously starting to wonder if it's twins haha, i laugh about it but i really wouldn't be 100 percent shocked...i just feel like this baby is so big already compared to my last pregnancy. i haven't gained very much at all, just the shape and feel of my stomach is so much more mature already. AND the baby already already gets by my ribs, not to the point where it wiggles in and takes my breath away, but i can feel some pressure by my ribs. It's fine with me, it's been fun having a shorter "fat stage" and i'll have a longer "round belly" stage.
