Sea World! The "real" happiest place on earth...

From visiting Disneyland for the first time with all of us together (josh, jessica and riley) we learned that although it was fun and riley loved looking at everything, we weren't so in love to turn our one day passes into a season pass...what we really learned is that we just aren't "disney land people" some families go there and just LOVE it and want to spend as much of their free time there as they can. We just didnt' get that much out of it. SOOO i decided i wanted to try Sea World. (they have the great deal right now, buy one day and get the rest of 2009 for free) i took riley to an aquariam when she was 9 months old and she had SUCH a good time, i thought she would love sea world....boy oh boy was i right! My mom came with us and we had such a great day. The weather was perfect and there is so much fun stuff there! There was so much for Riley to do and run around by that she literaly fell asleep in her carseat before i backed out of my spot!
They had this AMAZING play area for kids of all ages-this was riley's favorite. this section just for little ones. Basically a tarp covered area of foam so it was a little bouncy, mostly squishy and it was filled with fun blocks to move around and climb on.
Waiting for the water to shoot up-we were cracking up thinking oh man it's going to get her right in the face but, this one was broken, luckily for her!

Not sure how i got so lucky on her pose in this one!
If you ask riley this was the best thing yet in the entire park :)
This is my mom with riley at the shamu show-a little dissapointed because we went to get seats too late so we were too far away for riley to see..shamu is underwater mostly and she is too little to understand what was going on...she did like the music though!this is her groovin to the music
Looking at a walwrus i think, she just kept running from window to window
During the dolphin show-her FAVORITE! she loved it, we sat in the "soak" zone and got a little splashed, it was so fun!
GOT MILK? Random

In conclusion we are just most definetly Sea World People!

  2. Cute pictures! I'm glad you liked Sea World...I do NOT like Sea World....My kids want to go to Legoland. I'm just not sure it's worth the price to get in! Love the picture at the top of your blog! I can't believe how much she looks like Josh in that picture!

  3. Riley looks adorable as always and I'm glad you had such a good experience with her at Sea World.
Russell and I went to Sea World without the girls in August and loved it. We have yet to take them anywhere exciting- I guess we're just boring (and cheap) (and chicken to take twin almost 2 yr-olds anywhere like that!)

  10. I am right there with you on Sea World. WE LOVE IT TOO! Makenna wants to get there all the time. We have season passes, so we should go together some time. Did you guys go to the pets show? Makenna loves that one. And the dolphin show is her second fave. Love that place.
