A few more from the 3 WHOLE hours we've been up

(in our closet while josh got dressed for work)
"Is this your wedding dress"
me"no that is my temple dress"
"why is it white?"
me"because we wear white in the temple"
"why is it long"
me"so when i put it on it goes to the ground"
"why"
me...i think i walked away.

(playing with stickers, the kind with "oogly eyes")
"why do they have real eyes"
"why do they make noise"
"why does the ghost have tiny eyes?" over and over until i answered
me"because he's a tiny ghost."

me"your crown doesn't belong in here(the bathroom)"
"why?"
me"because this is the bathroom" ...

i can't even remember the rest. it happens too often for certain things to really stand out...last night i felt like EVERY single thing that came out of her mouth started with "why"...glad she's using her noggin'!

I'd be fighting the urge to say "because it just is!" at her all the time. Stay strong haha

Keep these coming- so funny! Thanks for the veggie tip, I will try it for sure because I love sharing cooking tips. Yes, refresh your blog, it feels so good! Also, you have no idea how crazy my dream was! Someone was trying to kill me and for some reason moving in with you guys was the only way I was going to be safe. How sweet huh? ;) Miss you!

Riley's Rantings

***"Did we get a new car?"-Riley "No...?"-Mom***Conversation starters Riley picked up all by herself and asks us throughout the day-"What's your favorite sport" & "What time's your appointment? 2 o'clock?" ***"Mom come look at my twisty poop!" ***"I don't have time for this, open the door!"-Riley wanting to get in the house to use the bathroom. ***"You're busted"-Riley told me this after i wrote her name in a new book she got. She kept explaining that we are not allowed to color in books. ***"We're a broken family" out of the blue, i told her "we are not! where did you hear that?!" i figured out they say that in lilo and stich her absolute favorite movie these past couple weeks. ***Riley usually says "heyyy little chubby guy" when talking to Braden but the other day she said "Heyyyyy little Stupid guy" she clearly had no clue what that word means, she got a stearn talking to, she started bawling and that is that. Josh and i are learning to censor all that we say! ***Riley has told me to "shut-up" twice so past week, which resulted in major trouble. She also tells me daily "I dont care!" but it's usually about something random, just part of her babble. ***"Mom, mooooommmmmm, MOM.moooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmm, mom, mom, mommy, mommy, mommy-mom"-what i hear all day long from riley, i'm glad she thinks i have the answer to everything but give me a break! :) ***"Oma,(german for grandma)you look so pretty, you look so pretty, you look like a donkey."-Riley brushing my mother in law's hair, guess she thinks donkeys are pretty! ***"They have chalk-es" Pronounced chalk-ez, as in mult. pieces.-Riley learning her grammer. ***"Riley, get in bed and go to sleep, it's NAP time. Do you need a spanking?" Riley-"yes." she rolls over on her tummy. I ignore her and tuck her in. Riley-"Can i have a spanking please?" ***"It's wrapped. It looks like a wrapped sea shell."-Riley after pooing on the potty... ? ***"You go poo.poo on the potty.YOU'RE IN TROUBLE. LOOK AT MY EYES!" complete with a spanking.-Riley talking to her baby...gee i wonder what mom does... ***Riley, come eat tamales..."I'm mad at tamales, I HATE tamales!"-Riley ***"Geez...you just make me cry mom"-Riley ***"My pony is eating special milk. I'm pumping it!"-Riley
