Fisher Baby #3

No games this time, no cute ways of sharing the news. Straight up. Blunt. IM PREGNANT! Josh and i tried about 7 months this time and i've been dying to share the news. I had my first OB appt yesterday. By all the dates i am due December 26th and couldn't be more thrilled-i wouldn't care if i was in labor on christmas morning (everyone thinks it kind of sucks to have a b-day right around christmas, i used to think so too but after trying that long for another baby, i will take one on whatever day of the year i can!) At the appt i got to hear the heart beat, which the dr couldn't find at first...i was so nervous...it just ended up being in a higher position then he expected for someone 12 weeks along. The dr said i am "atleast" 12 weeks along if not further...i'm scheduling an ultra sound appt today, and will be sure to post on those results :)
The first 2.5months i was pretty nauseated and extrememly tired. But also starving! Hard combination...sooo hungry but most stuff just sound plain gross. Don't worry-i found some foods to do the trick (mexican food is a MUST this time around-espeically bean and cheese burrtios from taco bell-does that even count as mexican?)...i've already gained a little more then i want to by this point but ya know, i eat at work, sit at work, go home and sleep. I've ran about 3.2 miles in the past 3months i think.eek!  I've been waiting and waiting for my energy to kick back in and it slowly is...
At my worst i was crashing at 7:30pm right at my kids bedtime-josh even had to put them down, because i was ususally out-and sleeping until my alarm went off at 6am or if i had the day off sleeping until 8am. THEN i would still take a 3hour nap during the day...
I'm proud to report yesterday i had my dr appt, took the kids to the children's museum, mowed the front and back yard and helped the kid's make their father's day gift...no nap, crashed around 8:30pm and woke up at 6am with energry :) SO i think my energy is coming back...
Josh and I are just so excited about this pregnancy and i will definetly keep you all updated.
I wanted to wait to tell Riley until i was about 3months along and heard a heartbeat...We told Riley last night and she was excited and then told me my tummy was fat-but not a lot fat, just a little fat....and that was before i lifted up my shirt. ha. kids.
I still have no way of blogging from home...i hope to post for all those things i missed, i think dating back to Easter...does anyone know how to write posts OFFLINE with pictures? i have a laptop so if i could get all the work done at home off line and then take it somewhere with free wi-fi and just post them that would be great!

  1. Woo hoo!!! I am so excited for you and your cute family. I remember how excited we were when I finally got pregnant with Ollie after like 8 or 9 months of trying. This time around, I got pregnant immediately (a little earlier than I thought it would happen) and it was terrifying at first! But either way it is such a joy and you make adorable babies. Best wishes for a smooth pregnancy!!

  10. Congrats! I craved Mexian like 5-6 days a week when I was pregnant with Makhi. And that was different for me. And I was always the queen of going to bed early. Poor Jeremy didn't really have a wife for months! :) Good luck and congrats again.
