October

October seemed to scream by...lots of school, soccer and holidays to celebrate

Riley's team the "glitter girlz" won their last game!
she had a great season, learned a lot and really liked her coach. She decided she loves to play mid or defense the best.
We go to participate in lots of these adrenaline raising tunnels at the end of each game, grandpa jeff and grandpa judi got to help out on this one!

Braden was a great player...at practice....and very shy on the field.  He did manage to score a few goals this season which he is very proud of and added one new trophy to his collection.

Max fell and got staples again, this time 5.  The cut he had this time made the last one look like a paper cut!
it was about 4cm long and super deep.  Luckily they cleaned it up, stapled and sent us on our way without any other injuries present.
He cried the entire way to the hospital saying "ow ow owww someone make it stop!" this broke my heart.  I am normally always calm, cool and collected in gory incidents, partly because i love it all! (not seeing my kids involved, but i love the medical aspect) but Monte said he was driving us and josh was holding max, so i had nothing to do but twiddle my thumbs, and look back at my poor baby crying!
While in the waiting room, he had calmed down some and was sitting down on my lap, i asked him
Me: want to sing a song?
Max: no
Me: want me to sing you a song?
Max: No! I hurt my head (pointing to it) remember?!
he was like super annoyed that i would ask such a thing haha

Max got to plant some sunflower seed with his Grancy awhile back, he worked hard watering them every day and we took a picture when they finally bloomed! He is very sad that they died but excited to plant more.
Cousins hanging out after sunday dinner
We get weekly letters and pictures from Daniel on his mission in the Dominican Republic...loved seeing that he enjoyed his halloween package a couple of the sisters sent him!
Also love hearing that he is doing great and his spanish is really coming along
Reese is still obsessed with her babies, here she is spoon feeding her new baby.

My kids know how to do "hat day" at school!
Reese is going through a "i don't want to eat (unless it's candy or chips)" stage this month. Im hoping for a growth spurt soon to trigger her hunger.

Dad and Judi came one saturday to watch the kids soccer games and to go on a much anticipated hike with Braden and max.

Max is our most wild kid.  The one who is always keeping us on our toes, pushing the boundaries etc.  He can be sweet too, but this is not what this post is about haha.
Along with his wild side comes his need for keeping up.  He has been our earliest to ride a bike without training wheels, before he was 3 1/2, he also had to try bradens new roller blades! He caught on just as quick if not quicker then braden, this boy is DETERMINED!
I got to babysit Liam one day and it was just so fun to hear reese tell him something then he would reply "no, no no" then she would just laugh at him.

The tooth fairy had to come visit a lot this month!

Grandpa Jeff and Grandpa Judi got braden a "big kid sleeping bag" that was much anticipated! (no kiddy logos on it) he was quite happy!
Reese like to be unclothed as of late and diaperless too! I wish we could say we were close to potty training but we are not so this was a bit of a shock to see! She has gone #2 on the potty a couple times but has since lost interest. luckily i checked on her and fixed this situation before there was an accident!
I LOVE this picture of my brother and reese, even more so because she does NOT like when he holds her for some reason, so this took some effort.
it was so funny, he asked her "can i hold you?" she said "no!" then he asked her a series of questions, like, do you want candy, do you like barbies, etc, she replied yes to each then he casually said "do you want me to hold you" without missing a beat she said "NO!"
Finally she was happy about it
Josh's Aunt Jolene has a time share and invited all the girls from that side of the family on a quick vegas get away...
it was really fun to catch up with family i either dont see often to don't get a change to talk to even if i see them a lot.  it was also fun to just be kidless for a few days!

Preschool is still going and max doesn't LOVE it but he goes willingly
